Desperate to chase his lost relevance

"However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion."

Prophetic.

I will never regret voting for Biden over Trump, but I will always regret having them as the two choices.
We would be in even worse shape had Trump won re-election.
That is debatable. Biden inherited commodity shortages and the CDC emperor. He pretty much screwed up everything else and is not doing much to resolve the issues. The good news is Biden has more time to do some good. Unfortunately Biden having more time is our biggest problem.

I hope he gets some good advice and follows it.

It's been over 16 months since Donald Trump left office, and he is still attacking Mike Pence for not taking action, which Pence did not have the power within the framework of the United States Constitution to take.

Trump says Pence "greatly disappointed" him by not overturning election

Does Trump believe that the current Vice President, Kamala Harris, will have this same power in January of 2025? Probably not, right? The notion that a sitting Vice President has the power to refuse to count electoral college votes during roll call, for an election in which that same VP was also on the ballot, is an utterly brain dead concept.

Fact Check: Can Pence send votes back to states for 'correction' as Trump says?

PolitiFact - Constitution does not allow Mike Pence to reject electoral votes

On top of being stubbornly ignorant, Donald Trump is a petty and stupid little man, who is completely guided by his egotistical nature, which is void of any semblance of morals or ethics.

Trump is so thin skinned he can take NO criticism. His ego is so fragile he just blasts anyone who dares question him.

He cannot be allowed to get anywhere near the WH ever again. Including on the tour.

First part: a big part of why he lost the election.

Second part: Wah, wah, wah.

There's one way, and only one way, I can see there current presidency as less inept as the last: handing of staff. We're not seeing high profile, six o'clock news videos of people being called stupid or fake or weak as they exit the building.

Otherwise, it's a wash.

I think they are equally inept in different ways. Trump, for the most part, had good people and mismanaged them.

Biden has hired the most inept bunch of buffoons to fill his administration possible and has handled them poorly by keeping them.

Yeah, Mike Pence seems to be a good and decent man. Not a good look for Trump in my opinion.
Do you want a "good" man to be your vice president, or do you want a strong man to be your vice president? We currently have a dumb ass bitch as our vice president. I always thought that Pence was an idiot politician and he talked like heels up Harris

It has been my experience that most good men in leadership positions are strong men, although there have been occasional exceptions to that.

With regards to likening Pence to Harris, we will just have to disagree. Pence was far better than Harris will ever be, even in her dreams.

Trump had good people? Seriously?

The Trump cabinet had a high rate of turnover, largely attributable to either wasteful spending or self-enrichment scandals.

Scott Pruitt (EPA Administrator)
Tom Price (Secretary of Health and Human Services)
Ryan Zinke (Secretary of the Interior)
David Shulkin (Secretary of Veteran's Affairs)

... and then you have cabinet members such as Ben Carson, Betsy DeVos and Rick Perry who had zero credentials to be working in the departments which they oversaw.

Finally, there was also the matter of nepotism, with Jared Kushner being treated as an all-purpose diplomat.

The Trump Administration was a chaotic clown show.

Yes, seriously. You obviously missed the line for the most part and cherry picked some, of whom there are several I disagree with your assessment.

Have neither the time now nor inclination to rebut on a case by case basis.

Trump is so self-absorbed, that he actually considered it an act of disloyalty when his Vice President refused to violate the Constitution in order to help him retain the presidency. Coming from the President of the United States, that is dangerously narrow-minded.

LOL! "Cherry-picked" some? I named 4 cabinet members who resigned directly from self-enrichment scandals... Name someone from Biden's cabinet who has resigned in disgrace? Just one!

You're an idiot.
