Destroy Florida and this loss will be forgotten.

If we can’t throw the ball vertically, we will be in a lot of trouble.

I've been expecting the offense to start firing on all cylinders, but that is not happening. It is a crap shoot. Nico was not himself tonight, and he was consistently pressured. The run game worked at times, not others. They need to play smarter and harder instead of looking like a team on the morning after an all night toot.

Florida is likely to come into Neyland and walk out with a win.

UT offense can’t find its identity now and the defense can’t stay on the field that long and expect to get the W.

Not to mention the mental block with Florida.
Either Mertz will have the game of the year or the kid will become a superstar or both.
Book it .
And dean smith will run the 4 corners to try and keep our offense from f ing up and hope the D will win it.

Oh sadly I think it has.

I’ve said for a while I’m pointing to 2025 as the season where we “should” make a big move. However, something has to change with offensive production against better teams and with the OL, or we will go into the offseason with serious doubts about our chances of success.

Hooker covered up a lot of our problems.

I'm still on board with Heuple, but he is not the saviour many thought he was
Nico is overhyped, hopefully next yr will be better
Martinez still needs to go
Elarbee can't develop linemen
Playcalling continues to be atrocious (JH or Hazle?)
LB are not good at pass coverage

We continue to have the Fulmer 8-4 seasons (may sneak in a 9-3 occasionally) won't change for a while.

Don't look for a convincing W against gators.

Sun will rise in the morning (unless you live on the west coast of Fla)

Not hardly. This stings like a nest of hornets. I don’t care who the Vols beat this year, I won’t forget this disgusting loss.
This stings because it follows the same pattern of our losses in the last few years where our offense seems to have no imagination , and coaches can't make game time changes to affect the outcome. What ever is not working in the first quarter ( running up the middle ) will still not be working in the 4th quarter but we still keep trying it. Teams that lose badly in previous games ( ARK etc ) will look like play off teams when they play us.

In this new age of college football the season will be judged by making or not making the playoff... Last night was a serious blow to those chances.. UF will be extremely confident coming in here and with how they've owned Tennessee why wouldn't they..
