Justin, you are trying to argue details man, stop trying. The conclusion is, OBL is dead, and we cut a major head off of a rather large and dangerous snake. Turn off your talk radio, and live your life. The man is dead, that's all that matters, move on. Do you sweat at night not truly knowing who killed JFK too??

Not arguing details, just that this country has a president who went out trying to claim full responsibility and if true he had about as much as I did to do with the whole thing.

No, I know who did it. It was the liberal government backed Islamofascists. Or maybe was it the evil corporate controlled neocons. At least that was what talk radio told me.:) (sorry just playin- couldn't resist)

So, do you read as much into your morning dumps, and you did the President's speech?? The President's speech was just a speech, and it's what they decided on. Would I have worded things differently than they did, sure, but I wasn't making the speech, so it's doesn't really bother me. I try and only care about the things I can control anymore, because those are the things I can make a difference with. Arguing details on a message board isn't really productive with this situation.

As a conservative myself, I can tell you that your response is the typical in a can argument that talk radio junkies would throw out. Most talk radio junkies are people who think way too much about detail, and not enough about how it effects their own life. Would you say that OBL being killed effects your life positively or negatively?? Anything but a positive answer right now would prove my point.

this part seems resonable to me "Panetta indicated to Obama that leaks regarding knowledge of Osama Bin Laden’s location were certain to get out sooner rather than later, and action must be taken by the administration or the public backlash to the president’s inaction would be “…significant to the point of political debilitation.”"

well, I guess since the left bashed Bush for 7 or so years for not getting bin Laden, the more conspiratorial elements of the right are now going to jump on that same train.

OBL is dead. He is dead by American hands. By all accounts, this mission was carefully thought out and nearly flawlessly executed. Credit the President for authorizing it.

yup. no matter how obama pussyfooted around, the fact remains bin laden is dead and no americans were harmed. hard to argue with the outcome.
