In what way does Pearl represent the winning time period in UT BB history?

Ray Mears has nearly twice as many total wins and a higher winning % at UT:

278 - 112 (71.3%)

Jerry Green has a higher winning % (he was here 2 fewer years, so he has fewer total wins):

89 - 36 (71.2%)

Bruce Pearl:

145 - 61 (70.4%)


I liked Pearl as a coach, but it's just revisionist history to pretend like he outperformed all other coaches that came before him here.

He made this situation on his own, and now he has to deal with it, and we have to move on.

Im not saying its any sort of accomplishment by us, but to say michigan wasnt a good team is a joke.

Michigan isn't 30 points better than Tennessee, and blaming that on Hamilton is asinine. They lost 6 of their first 7 conference games for Jesus Christ's sake.

And I wouldn't be shocked at all if Duke is upset by Arizona in the Sweet 16.

Do you ever wonder what goes on in their heads. Outside of echoes? I keep coming back to post and participate here mainly because of the shock and awe. Mixed with unhealthy dollops of unstrained stupidity served up by the Bruce Pearl For Roman Emperor group.

My wife will walk into my office and see this vacant stare and dropped jaw and turn around and walk out.
