I was listening to WDAE AM 620 ... Vitale was interviewed and said that Donovan has been a big influence in Gator basketball.. almost immediately someone twittered that Muschamp has done more for Gator basketball..... I laughed so hard I had to pull over...

I'm no Muschamp fan but seems to me y'all gots a long way to go before you start laughing at any part of UF athletics.

4-8 and a loss to Georgia Southern very much warrants a laugh. I don't care if we were on a 20 year win streak against UF, I would still expect UF fans to laugh at us for a season like that.

That's just pitiful.

So what are the requirements to make fun of another team? Guess I will hold my tongue until you give us the green light, wise Gator.

Well, I'd say some kind of at least minimal sustained success in your own program would be a good start.

This is a message board. As a rival fan, do you not EXPECT us to give you and your team a hard time?

I'm not making fun of Muschamp. I want him to remain the coach forever. He's done a great job.

Sure I do.

But I'm struggling to see how you laugh at a coach you have never beaten, at a school you've lost to nine times in a row, because he makes that rival school's basketball team look like it does indeed deserve its #1 ranking.

Most of us are not going to quit thumping that power T on our chest because we've had a series of unfortunate events that led to the current state of the program.

I will continue to talk trash (granted with no basis) to all SEC rivals until I die. We may never get back to the top, but if we do, I've laid the ground work on my colleagues at work, people at the gym, my neighbors, and anyone not sporting that T.

How could you not understand or agree that was funny?

Muschamp going 4-8 means UF fans actually give a crap about basketball...sorry but that is funny regardless who you pull for
