I was listening to WDAE AM 620 ... Vitale was interviewed and said that Donovan has been a big influence in Gator basketball.. almost immediately someone twittered that Muschamp has done more for Gator basketball..... I laughed so hard I had to pull over...

I didn't know Dickie V knew that anyone outside of the ACC played basketball.

No joke. I can remember when Tennessee was no. 2 in basketball and played against a no. 1 Memphis team that had Derek Rose, he was commentating the game.

Whomever (I can't recall) was commentating with him said something to the effect of "this game has bragging rights, and it will also determine the no. 1 team in the country it's really a great rivalry" and Dickie responded with "yeah it's not bad but it can't touch North Carolina and the Dukies BABY". I get that in roundball UNC/Duke is light years ahead of Tennessee/Memphis, but stick to the task at hand.
