to head the CIA?

Someone please tell me we didn't just pick a Clinton pol to head the CIA. He was part of the team that gutted the place.

really you don't understand the choice? libs hate the CIA, why do think your boy Bill gutted it for 8 years, 6 terrorist attacks against America and our interest and they gutted it like a fish. they wanted to rely on technology instead of humans to get information.

i'm suprised he hasn't picked janet reno for anything yet. she'll be a great placement in the attorney generals office.

Panetta is also 71 years old. That's too old to be entrusted with the responsibility of running the CIA. What happens if he has a heart attack and dies while in office? Will his 46 year old youthful and dynamic protege be prepared to take over?

agreed. Some of my more serious reservations had started falling away a bit. His over the top grousing about the economy and our crumbling infrastructure is also a bit of a concern.

joevol has been saying pretty much the same thing over and over since he joined the board, with the occasional plagiarized statement from a smarter poster thrown in. It just gets old.
