Did Hubbs stick his neck out too far?

I agree with GBOvol. If Dooley doesn't get the axe this season then Hart isn't starting off on the right foot. The pressure will move from Dooley on to Hart.

Is UT seriously satisfied with Dooley's performance?
Good God, times have changed.....can't expect anything to chane by doing the same thing over and over and over
Yeah, just give Dooley more time....or take appropiate measures to change this programs direction....after all there's no where to go but up at this juncture

Hart is as bad at cover-ups as the Obama administration. Maybe he can hire Jay Carney soon to run point.

Either source(Hubbs) has misinformation or Hart is a liar.

In PR, perception = reality.

Managing the public's perception of what is happening in the UTAD does not make Dave Hart a liar.

It simply means that Hart is in control of the situation and an announcement will be made on his terms - not based on the demands of an impatient fanbase.

I have a lot of respect for how Hart is handling this - night and day between DH and Mike Hamilton.

I think we all remember how dramatic and distracting the coaching changes of '08 and '10 were - IMO this is exactly why no official announcement has been or will be made until Monday 11/26.

what has dools lied about?

Well, he said that the SEC wasn't going to have tennessee to kick around any more. That one wasn't exactly correct

He lied during the Bryce Brown situation, the Arnett situation, constantly said Da'Rick Rogers was doing great when everyone new he had academic and substance issues, he insinuated that he let Wilcox go because he just wasn't ready for the SEC. I'm not saying they were "bad lies" but if Dooley doesn't think it's anyone else's business he will circumvent the truth just like any lawyer.

Yeah, I think those are white-lies. He was just spinning things positive. I dont have too much trouble with that.

I'll believe what ever happens when I see it and not until. This thing is like the who killed Kennedy debate. Even if someone knew exactly what was going to happen and when, there would be someone else who had an inside source saying something else. I've heard every angle from everyone with an inside source and I don't know anymore now than I would if I hadn't heard anything.

This is really like the biggest, scariest, most nausea-inducing roller coaster ever invented. I hate this roller coaster. Jane, get me off this crazy thing!!!!!!!!!!!

Dooley has his marching orders. He will stick to the plan to insure he gets his 5mm

+1

Dooley knows how all this ends. He has been told to keep it quiet and he will do so. I don't agree with Hart wanting it to stay quiet, I hope he has a good reason for it.

I just want this to end...But what I really want more than anything is the rumors to stop. I have learned my lesson. Im not trusting or listening to ANYONE except the university at this point. Its very clear no knows anything.

This, but it isn't as fun as quoting "sources."

Hubbs doesn't stick his neck out really at all. When, and if, he does it's with very solid info.

Many on here claim that Hubbs in nothing more than a puppet for the University. They like to think he only states the things they want him to say and thats how he keeps his connections.

Anyone want to still claim he is nothing more than a puppet???

Please don't bring government coverups into this. I am still searching for wmd's. Lets talk sports in this forum please.
