Politician's assistant is a role of an intern. I work as a staffer who actually contributes to the Senate Intelligence committee, I was not in the room but have seen the reports submitted to us by the WH. Huge difference in the clearance the two roles have.

I explained compensation in an earlier post, but happy to again:

Media sources will sometimes compensate for information. Not necessarily monetarily, but in other perks (maybe it's a legality issue, I know very little about whether or not a source can be paid). However, nobody gets a dime/dinner/car whatever until the story checks out. I'll say this too, 99% of the time an "Anonymous source" is actually multiple sources from different levels of organizations relaying the same information.

I'm so happy to know that a staffer with such clearance is on VN setting the record straight about Trump's handling of classified information.

We're privileged.

For the record, I hope your VPN breaks, your boss, and everyone in Washington find out that this is how you handle yourself after reading official gov't reports on the President's closed meetings with foreign dignitaries.

You should feel as proud as we feel privileged.

I don't Work in the White House. As far as my VPN goes, I'm legally allowed to disclose the things that I have talked about. Like I said, it's been declassified. You're welcome to call my boss. Don't really know why I'm hiding who I work for anyway, it doesn't matter.

Yah. I'd already edited the post per white house.

Maybe it's completely legal for you, as a lowly staffer, to use your clearance to read official reports and then post on anonymous sports sites that Trump is guilty of sharing classified information and lying about it.

It's legal. That's your job and proper use of your clearance. So, I agree. Why are you hiding who you are? Go ahead and tell us who you are, who your boss is, and everyone will know how the gist of his reports are ending up on VN.

I don't blame you, there's some whack jobs up in here. Frankly, I've found an insiders view enlightening. Not sure why OC is getting all lathered up - I didn't see where you stated anything that wasn't already known or reported.

Nah I posted something I really shouldn't have but took it down. OC was kind enough to change his quote too, so it wouldn't be revealed. OC has every right to be skeptical of me, it's got to be weird.

Who is going to impeach Trump? You do realize that impeachment ISNT removal right? IF he got impeached the legislatures would have to vote to remove him..ain't going happen.

Trump has continually gone out of his way to belittle, demean, and discredit the media. He picked that strategy and it carried him to the white house. He now can spend the rest of his hopefully short time in office dealing with the repercussions.

You can't taunt and tease a dog endlessly and then cry when you finally get bitten.....unless you're Trump.

Had a dog bit me once. He stopped himself just before breaking skin and/or my wrist.

Our neighbor had shot him in the hind-quarters with bird shot. I didn't know and had put a finger into one of the wounds. He reflex-bit but immediately controlled himself. I thought it amazing self control so gave him a mulligan on it.

True, but I think the media started it in trying to control the outcome of the last election. Sure there will be hard feelings when you aid in a rigged election and the other guy wins. I can't find any news service that is not currently a propaganda outlet 90% of them liberal.:mf_surrender:

I don't think that's what happened. If anything, networks like CNN killed HRC's campaign having the insufferable Jeffrey Lord on all the time.
