He could say all things negative about the Vols, be as biased against them a they come as long as UT wins! Let him wallow in his misery of Tennessee winning.

I muted the TV so that I would not have to listen to him. I listened to the radio and watched the game. Much better way to watch the game. I didn't get pissed at the play-by-play guys this game.

My problem with him is he continuously tried to manifest targeting calls where there was no targeting.

What's weird is Bama fans hate Gary just as much as Vol fans and feel Gary has it in for them.

Eh, it's a good joke. If anything he was endorsing our behavior. I really don't get the intense dislike of him by a large portion of our fanbase.

Having said that, when bammer tied it up, he said "and they get the ball to start the half" which wasn't accurate. A rare mistake by him.

TBH some of his comments yesterday were annoying, but only mildly.

Just MO, but some pay WAY too much attention to the talking heads and announcers.

I like Heupels approach to that. Shut out the outside noise is what he tells the team. What our fanbase does obviously only has a small effect on the result, if any, but I think we should all do what Heupel advises. I care about the Vols. Could care less what some stuffed shirt on TV says about them.

The exception is if what they are saying affects our playoff chances, for instance. Then it does matter obviously. That will be something to keep an eye on.

But come on...it was a joke, and a pretty funny (and true!) one also. Lighten up Francis!

I personally find that hilarious. I'm just saying why everyone so sensitive these days? Self deprecation is an ok thing. It's fine to laugh at yourself.
