Different camera angle on Pig Fumble. MUST SEE!

You are right, would argue with a tree and dumber than a door knob. First he loses it as soon as he leave his feet. the he loses it as soon as his right hand come off of it. Then he loses it at the 1/2 yard line. All the while there is no separation from his hand and the ball, and no video evidence to prove otherwise. Oh, about forgot, now he is dribbling it into the end zone!

Regardless of what anybody says we lost & no matter what you think you will always be wrong & I will be right.

and that goes both ways! I been here a long time. I do a lot of reading , just don't post much, but the idiocy of this call being overturned had me intrigued.

The idiocy of you using the word idiocy is very intriguing.

You are right, we lost, on a bad call, and I cant change that. Doesn't mean I have to agree with it and you are still wrong.

Gentlemen, I created this thread and haven't looked at it in a couple days. Wow is all I can say...

I still think it was a bad call. Many think it was a good call. Who cares anymore? No matter your opinion let's let the thread die and focus on all the positive things going on in our program right now (spend some time on the recruiting board maybe). There is entirely too much good news to bicker over this any longer.

Let's stop calling each other idiots and focus on the good. We're all big orange brothers (and sisters) so let's agree to disagree and get back on the same side.

GBO!!!

Coming from you or anybody who doesn't believe that was a fumble is highly ironic.

Whats ironic is that you call your'self a vol fan and believe that was a fumble. If the call had been upheld you wouldn't say a word about thinking it was a fumble!

Being a fan doesn't require blindness to reality. It's also possible to think a bad call that went in your favor is still a bad call.

Peterson absolutely intercepted Bama in '09 (look it up). Both the on field and replay officials blew the call. I'm happy Bama won, and i never lost any sleep over the bad call. But I can acknowledge that it was a really bad call.

This is true, To be honest, I think North's TD catch was more questionable than Pig's fumble.

I would say we got away with one. The North catch was pretty darn close too. Bad calls happen but unfortunately replay got it right. I would argue the bs PI call against us near the end but we was kind of given a gift on the 4th down punt earlier. If you can't accept bad calls happen & the excitement of a big play can sometimes turn against you as quick as a replay then maybe football isn't for you. What's sad is this play wasn't even close.

Yes, the PI call was bogus, I agree. I didn't see the PF that some were arguing, never went back to review it either.I also know bad calls happen and go both ways, but I'm still gonna call it the way I see it.

Ball isn't quite in his hands.

Well its nice to know that you do in fact know what "isn't quite in his hands" does mean. In fact it is in his hands but his fingers have not gripped the ball. The picture of the Pig grip is much more definitive. But the ball here has been stopped. We know North will draw it up to his chest. I do think the inference of his dragging his right toe while he takes possession is there as well.

Do you wear a helmet in your normal day to day activities?

I've come to the point that these few arguing are trolls. They all have few posts, very few likes, and are just arguing for the point of arguing.

It's like talking to a wall

This.

It's the same 4-5 guys that are so adamant it was a TD; at this point anyone responding to them needs to just stop and let the thing die.

Anyone else still curious as to how Alto can hold a football with just 3 fingers, none of which are his thumb?
