Always has to be racial doesn’t it. Do you understand how petty and small it makes anyone look who blames all their shortcomings on racism.
Blaming racial slurs on racism is actually pretty normal lol, you’re saying people are calling her the N word but it’s not racial?

Choose your words more carefully.

It’s not “always” racial.

However the person who sent the death threat to Carrington referred to her as a “ni**er bitch”.

Does that sound racial to you?

I was simply pointing out that both Carrington faced death threats just like Clark.

That same person said they hoped someone raped Carrington then cut her head off.

I didn't think that foul was intentional and I don't know why they picked it out. There are 5 or 6 other obvious intentional fouls where players should have been fined. If it was any other sport her teammates would have had her back and a brawl would have started. Her teammates did nothing. What a league!

I don't watch WNBA games either.
Just seen a lot of videos of Caitlin Clark getting knot down . In games during the season.
Clark should explore other

The person who sent the death threat to Carrington referred to her as a “ni**er bitch”.

Sounds racially motivated to me.

No matter what, you’ll ALWAYS have a trump card. Racism. Sorry if the unintended pun of me saying Trump card seems ……….racist

Same reason why UT fans rejoiced when your guy knocked out Joakim Noah’s teeth with a flying elbow. Sometimes, fans can be a-holes.

Why is a face scratch being called a “brutal assault”?
There were lots of videos complaining of the eye getting hit.
Use that one because it show it from different angles.
They were other terms use to describe Caitlin Clark getting hit in the eye not posting all of them.
Is that basketball . Can not name five player on any men's basketball team. Watch the lady Vols mostly. Watch more women's During the NCAA tournament.
Don't know who Joakin is or who elbow him. I'm from Tennessee all my life.

We’ve covered this already.

CC said she didn’t think the eye poke was intentional. I’ll take her word for it.

I was responding to your ?
Not wanting to go back and forth with you.

We have different opinions on what a brutal assault is.

I don’t classify an unintentional eye poke as a brutal assault.

Calling an unintentional eye poke a brutal assault is an extreme overreaction.

We can agree to disagree and move on if you like.

We can all hope those posts were made while in a drunken stupor after losing a house payment betting on the fever, otherwise hope that LE is able to track him down or he gets Doxed

And?

The title you used from the video is an extreme overreaction and misrepresentation to what actually took place.

She might not been going for her eye.
But she slap at her ball was already gone.
So like you said it's time to move on.

The celebration after shuts it all down. I cant find the darn clip but its crazy Mabrey come up to Carrington and acts like shes poking her in the eye// same hand motion and they both laugh about it. She knew what she did and no one with eyes sees that clip and things it was a mistake also I have never seen Carrington nails that long in a game before. In most pictures and games before that she had regular length nails (longer that you'd expect for someone playing basketball but passable). In that game she had some full out press ons.

Whitlock is a clown but he knows how to generate views/outrage
In this case hes just telling the truth. It is kinda crazy when people like Jason Whitlock and Charles Barkley seem like the adults in the room. The WNBA (as an organization and a lot of its individual members) and Nike are dropping the ball very big in this situation to a level rarely seen.

Nike still 0 CC commercials or any real effort to capitalise on her season. She is still wearing Kobes. That in and of itself (wearing Kobes) is awesome. The fact they have not dropped her any shoes yet is crazy. I feel like nike is scared of the controversy honestly. In recent years they have been bitten by some of the people they have signed. In this case its went the other way. They could gave ridden that 2abe. I am not sure they hype is the same next year. This season i think is the peak of WNBA interest. It wont fully dry up but i dont think it grows.

The WNBA has flubbed every opportunity to not look stupid. The vast majority of WNBA players and coaches are not clowns. The problem is that the vocal minority sre the only ones talking and they talk way too much. The world sees them as representing everyone and sadly the world is correct. Them sitting back saying nothing is actually worse than the ones out there clowning IMHO. Because it gives those clowns power.

I truly hope over the offseason a lot of people reflect and come at those differently next season. One interesting tidbit. It looks like someone in Chicago woke up. They fired TSpoon who I personally think is low key one of the most responsible for this crap getting out of hand. She is the architect of building up Angel Reese and her stat padding. She was the one that sat back and allowed that toxic culture on the Sky. In fact it seemed like she actively fed it.

One interesting thing that came to mind. Some of this plays out like one of those old daytime soap operas. The Marina Mabry the one celebrating with pokey chick? Was traded from the sky. She demanded the trade because toxic environment. Pokey Chick? Her girlfriend is Nylyssa Smith power forward for the fever who has been disgruntled for months because she does not fit in the fevers new offense ( she is a halfcourt/iso player). She has had some weird posts during the season and fans have wanted her benched most of the season. Now she just made a goodbye post pretty much guaranteeing shes gone. Thing is she is a third year player and rookies sign 4 year contracts. Which leads to the weird way the WNBA does business. Players force trades, get blackballed on a regular basis. The transaction wire in the WNBA is drama central.Trustvme if you like conspiracies and drama the WNBA is your league.

So she got away with all kinds of things in college and now she is whining. Give me a break.
A friggin coward tried to take her out of a playoff game by intentionally targeting her eye(s). It potentially could have blinded her.

Do you practice being dense or does it just come natural?

We watched.

CC herself said it wasn’t intentional.

The same contempt some of you hold for these WNBA players for ”brutally assaulting” CC is the same contempt CC holds for those same fans making her out to be some racial/political martyr.
If Clark said otherwise, the offenders would just make it harder on her. She has chosen to rise above it all. No player in any sport has been abused like Clark--EVER.

He’s not telling the truth. The “jealous lesbians singling her out” narrative is stupid and primarily resonates with people who don’t actually watch the games
