There is a drastic difference between the guard and the post talent in the United States. There aren't many talented centers in the US right now. On the U19 team they have four post players and only one is 6"9".This seems like very unrealistic expectations. Didn't he tryout for the U19 team that Awaka made? For Freddie to really be that high you would think he would've made the team too.

They may not have been ready to be solid contributors in the league, but they were big contributors in college. Especially Chandler. He carried the team the second half of the season.Chandler was OK the second half of the season. Johnson and Springer weren't close to ready.
But no I'm talking about a Jabari or Paolo that come in and drop 20 a game and can carry a team from day 1.
Which I noted about Chandler. They may not have been ready to be solid contributors in the league, but they were big contributors in college. Especially Chandler. He carried the team the second half of the season.
Maybe, but that's what a one and done should be. If you can't dominate the college level are you really ready for the league?
That sucks. I was hoping he was an Elite scorer than can control the game and allow Vescovi to play off ball. He’s not the droid you’re looking for. I think Dillione will be a meaningful contributor. If he has a good season, he could be a second round pick. Nothing about him suggests regular 20 point nights or being a top five pick. I’m just excited to have someone over 5 8” who can penetrate from the point.
And Dale Ellis.
