I was on hold for 45 minutes and it comes on as soon as I reach an operator. I asked what they were going to do for their customers impacted by this and I ended up getting free HBO through Dec. 5, so I would suggest you all try to get something out of this as well if you don't plan on canceling.

I may try this. I was on hold 30 minutes and missed half of the game. I just got through.

Dish is 404 with hopper...569 otherwise...but it is free this month on 349 to all packages...this is what I've been told

Just make sure to mark your calendar for Dec. 4 to call back and cancel, because it won't do it automatically.

I would have preferred that to be honest, I'm not big on HBO. I asked about a discount and he said they weren't offering it at that time. I guess the wife can use the HBO though.

Wow. Comcast worked without a problem. Once they agreed to pick up HD stream, I was happy. And I was a long time (7-8 years) DTV customer and almost went back with the SEC network alternate HD issue.

Games on my Direct TV but an annoying message is taking up a chunk of the bottom of the screen. Problem communicating with Dish. Error 776.

Not a fan of Satellite but if your losing signal during light rain, your dish needs realignment or was not properly installed. You need to check your signal strength during a sunny day. The higher it is the less problems you will have during thunderstorms.

This is why I have Dish, I missed too many games in the past with Directv and their CS is horrible. Not today with Dish, it was all good.

Someone posted in this thread that their Dishnet went off because a rain shower yesterday -- BTW I did get to see the 4th qtr on TV instead of online since the worthless Alabama game got delayed and cancelled
