Who cares about those two networks, when you have MLB Extra innings, and NFL Sunday Ticket on DirecTV? Those two networks have lame football games on anyway.

So Sec Network will be on channel 611 which made sense when I saw Big Ten Network on 610. I would think if I get 610 then should get 611 with no additional charge? (Realitively new to direct so still figuring out their structure)

There probably will be. The Big Ten has channel 610, but has multiple channels, and has shown three or four football games at the same time. I am not exactly sure of how it works anymore. Been 9 long months since I have used the channel.

DTV wont charge extra. I will be included in one or more of their packages, probably anything above the basic package.

Everyone's bill will probably go up by a dollar or so (whether you have the package that carries the SECN or not). Every carrier will do this. It will just be a part of the general price increase that happens every year.

Those are the channels for the Big Ten Network. I assume it will be something like this for the SEC network as well.

Feel bad for those who left DTV because of this situation and switched to DISH. The HD quality of DTV is better than DISH. I notice it right away, however some don't. For example, I know some who don't see the difference between standard def and HD lol!

Sweet and I got the NFL Sunday ticket for free this year after the wife had a talk with them.

I seen that promotion too, pretty good deal. Get Sunday ticket free for 1st year and pay for the next year.

Dish gets into contract disputes all the time with local channels

Well it was one thing to charge me for them but to not even offer HD for them when DTV at the time offered it free was a low blow.

Games broadcast on the SEC Network will ONLY be available ON the SEC Network via your cable provider. That includes at least our first two games.
