I hate this argument. Seriously, marriage is a sham in this country regardless of who it is between.

I'm not terribly religious, I do think that there are good and bad points to pretty much all religions though.

No I'm not, but I feel you are who you want to be, and only the individual can make that decision, no one else.

i agree, but at the same time i can't support it w/ my religion. now that doesn't mean i hate them. bc if i did then i'd be doing what my religion tells me not to do.

That's admirable. The problem is you're a minority in that aspect. I wish more Christians were like you.

My argument on Gay rights is this.

All are created equal, and have certain inalienable rights. Where does it say that does not apply if you are attracted to someone of the same sex?

And Natalie Portman is HOT!

portman is hot, stiller hilarious.

think back a few generations, homosexuality was around, but it sure as heck wasn't as out in the open as it is now. personally i just think its wrong. it'll eventually be passed in my lifetime i'm sure, but idk hearing about it all the time drives me nuts.

say a Christian got up there and had made a statement about their beliefs, what do you think the reaction would be to that?

I know what you're saying, but the Christian's had their fight in the Roman Empire.

Christians arent the persecuted anymore, they are now more often the persecuters.

It's a shame, since said judgment goes against Christian values all together.

idk i see ur point, but at the same time to say Christians aren't persecuted anymore i'd say is false.

It may, and then I will defend people's right to be a Christian.

I'm all about equality for EVERYONE, regardless of your beliefs.

Worst persecuted religion in America: Islam, and I think that's simply ridiculous
