Really? I think it has the most potential. Yea we know how Andor meets his demise but compared to something like Kenobi we barely know anything about him. The show actually has some stake. Could be a good “spy” story in the SW universe.

This Pinocchio remake is gross. Feels like Hanks is doing a sketch comedy character that isn't funny and everything is so CGI'd to the point that it has no soul. Gippeto's work shop is entirely green screen. I don't get it. My 4 yo loves it of course, so what do I know? Do your thing, Disney.

I thought Figaro, the cat, had quite a bit of personality to be CGI. I found myself watching him more than Hanks lol.

Sorry but just now seeing this; the post I quoted was a tweet about the Agatha series. I'm looking forward to Andor, but as much as an MCU fan I am I'm not really excited about a series zeroed in on Agatha.

I thought it was fine for what it is, but it's like most of the "live action" remakes....not needed.

I did laugh at the part when Pinocchio is telling Gippeto everything he had done and Gippeto yelled "YOU DID ALL THAT IN ONE DAY?" because it sounded like Hanks dropped the bad accent and just yelled like Tom Hanks.

whoops. My bad. I must have gotten lost in the announcements and just saw the A.

Yeah I’m not super excited for Agatha. I liked her on WV but a whole show about her is a stretch.

Ehhh, I think it made sense that he would have a different voice since it's not a toy in a drama and a serious character (not a silly character, like in the Toy Story movies).

Lol I was about to make the same post.

Speaking of LIghtyear.....again it also was fine. Not outstanding but still pretty entertaining for what it was. The people who freaked out over Tim Allen and about 5 seconds of what they consider icky need to just get over themselves.

Unless an actor is just completely obnoxiously in one's face with political or social nonsense, I just look over it.

My kids are young, they like Buzz Lightyear. Disney pumps this stuff out like froyo, what you gonna do? Some people just want to bit**.

My kids watched it and liked it. It looks terrible to me. Hanks owed somebody a favor…

I haven't really liked any of the live action remakes. The cartoons are better imo.

I haven’t watched them all but I think they are missing the opportunity to do something new. Instead they have leaned into near exact remakes which seem extremely pointless.
