hundred percent. millenials have buying power but id argue the Gen Xers and Boomers would spend more because they're our movies, our culture.

Amazing set design. Excellent detail. Just not a fan of the new movies, so, the emotional attachment wasnt there. No OG meechandise or throwbacks any turn at DW. Kinda of a let down, honestly.

Most importanty my kids enjoyed this, which is what its all about. Cant help to think Disney is missing a large paycheck by not incorporating more OG & Marvel stuff into its parks.

I loved it. Smugglers Run is awesome. The Rise of the Resistance was a lot of fun too.

It’s “new” because it’s supposed to be its own storyline. I expect to see it change in the the Mando-verse soon though.

When I went in Jan I saw a fair amount of classic merch.

Is that just for Florida, becaues I was just at Disneyland 2 months ago and they have an entire Avengers Campus area with Marvel rides and characters walking around, etc. The Tower of Terror at DL was remade into a Guardians of the Galaxy ride and it's about a million times better than ToT at DW; especially at night when the ride changes slightly and it's way more chaotic.

I enjoyed the Avengers area more than the SW area.

The set design and all is great, but overall I thought the whole thing was overrated. I enjoyed the Falcon ride more.

Yeah for Florida. That’s why the other Disney parks like you mentioned have avengers campus, meet and greets with Spider-Man or other characters, but Florida doesn’t. They are able to use the guardians of the galaxy in Florida, but universal Orlando has the theme park rights to the main characters like hulk, Spider-Man, Thor, cap, etc.

Ah, that makes sense. I went to DW a year ago and while I liked it, I honestly liked DL better mostly because of the Avengers/Marvel stuff. DW overall is a better experience and has more to do, but honestly I liked DL more because it's only like 1/3 the size. It was less traveling all over and you only have to hop from one park to the other, and I thought the Guardians' Tower >>>>> DW's ToT and the Space Mountain at DL is better than the SM at DW.

Having said that, I do want to ride the new GotG ride at DW and the new Tron ride whenever it is finished.

Yeah the guardians coaster looks super fun. The new universal park opens in 2025, I’ll be going down to Orlando to check that out and probably visit Disney world to do the guardians and tron coasters then.

Wish Disney would just buy Universal Studios. Its inevitable anyway. Def would go all in on an Avengers themed area.

I would not be a fan of that. I am a huge Disney nerd but I haven’t been a fan of how they have been managing the parks since Chapek came on. Universal has done a good job at stealing some market share and Epic Universe should only help.

I want to incorporate better adults rides and the MCU, Disney version.

I am not a huge Disney park fan.

GoTG ride is the best ride at Disney. Its great. I've hit that thing up about a half dozen times already.
