People bitching about the cost of content relative to what they're getting should just do some research. $250 Million, for a TV series? And we wonder why they don't have a ton of content and price of subscription is going up.I liked Andor. I’m also enjoying Skeleton Crew. Made it through two episodes of Acolyte. Didn’t care for ObiWan much. I enjoy about 80% of Mando. I’ve enjoyed all of the one-off movies. It’s a lot of content. Will be some hits and some misses. Most of it still feels like Star Wars to me, so that’s good from my perspective.
I'm not sure it's worth it anymore. Prices go up while the shows are not improving. Agatha and the Acolyte were terrible. I've heard the last season of What if? wasn't good too. Haven't started that.
They've had a few good documentaries, but not enough of them
It's hard to let it go though. Star Wars and the comics were a big part of my youth.
Disney needs to pay attention to DC comics/studios and realize who there main audience is.
Skeleton Crew is the most fun I’ve had watching a SW show since Mando S2.
Since you mentioned docs, my kids have gone all in on The Muppets so we watched the Jim Henson one the other night. It was excellent. Really inspiring.
I want to watch the new Beatles one.
I was pleseantly surprised with Skeleton Crew. It was much more entertaining than The Acolyte (which wasn't great but wasn't as bad as the hate), but it's also a bit different vibe. It was cheesier due to the younger focus and sometimes having kids be the star can be bad. I thought they were all fine. Not amazing acting but not Anakin TPM levels of bad ( to be clear, I don't blame Jake Llyoyd, I blame Lucas for that).
I liked Jude Law's character, he was a very grey character who was bad but not totally evil. I liked seeing someone who was a Force user but wasn't a Jedi or a Sith.
by decree, I hereby announce...I’m letting my Disney plus go.
I signed up to see new Mickey, ducktales, chip and dale, herbie, tailspin.
I liked the new duck tales but nothing else is new. Bring back gummie bears.
Instead it’s just crappy SW stuff that has basically killed my love of SW and I’m the guy who waited in line at midnight to watch the theater releases and loved SW.
