Do not hate on Dobbs

I just looked it up. GASO was 0-3 passing for zero yards yesterday.

If brick by brick HC Jones goes with Dobbs as starting QB in 2014 and next years season mirrors 2013 it will result in a immediate Coaching Buyout in UT history a two season stint and his brick by brick program will come crumbling down

The first interception was because the receiver broke away from Josh instead of coming back towards him as he was supposed to do which allowed the defender to cut in front. That pick wasn't on Dobbs. The bobbled pass wasn't on Dobbs as well as the other drops. It's true he doesn't have a long ball arm so I don't know why they called the few long passes they did. Everyone had to stop and wait on the ball. The kid did a lot of good things in the game, not outstanding, but he was not the reason we lost.

Dobbs has a long career ahead. Just because he's struggled at a true freshman doesn't mean he can never be any good. He's been forced to play because of injury not by choice.

That was my point. You've made it clearer.

However, it was clear coaches tied his hands as well; he looked a lot better against Bama and that's no lie.

The QB gets all the glory when we win. It's only fair that he gets the lions share of criticism when we lose.

Unless he's a true freshman who everyone would have liked to have red-shirted and whose coaches, frankly, flat-out failed him in this game.

Instead of building up his confidence in the bye week, it seems they brought him down to their level of panic.

At this stage, Year Two has got to look damn good.
