I keep reading people saying they just don't see how we get in the tourney. Do these people not realize the most popular bracket predictor currently has us in the tourney? We don't have to win 2 games in the SEC tourney. We need to win out and win our first tourney game which will be against an inferior opponent.

I see us re-gouping after yesterday. Now we can go on another run. Hopefully deep into the conference tourney. If we make the semi-finals of the SECT, I think we are in. If not, that puts a lot of pressure on year three of the CCM experiment. Just my 2.

Anything can happen but at this point it is more likely we make it than miss it opposed to what a lot of people on here are saying.

I think we need to win three or four more games but you also have to factor in other teams wins and losses and upsets in various conference tournaments. With our RPI, 20 wins should be enough but you never know!

We need 20 wins. If we don't get 20 we don't deserve to go. Should win our next 3. The Georgia game was toughest game remaining.

Are you high??? The Georgia game was the toughest remaining??? Do YOU follow college basketball at all? Georgia is a HORRIBLE basketball team, and Mizzou is legit. Maybe not on the road but they are definitely a better team than georgia.

I suggest you look at how tough Georgia has played teams and then go look at Missouri's road record and get back to me. Missouri is awful on the road. Have been beat by 20 plus on multiple occasions.

I wouldn't call UGA horrible. Mizzou is legit, but they have been very suspect on the road. For us, the UGA game being on the road, having already beat us, and with us coming off the high of beating Florida, I can see a case being made for that being our toughest game left. Not saying I agree with him, but I don't think the UGA game should have been thought of as a gimme.

Georgia has lost by 2 at Arkansas, lost in OT at ole miss, won at A&M, and went on five game winning streak in SEC play. They are far from horrible.

Anything can happen. Just gotta wait and see.

Fun to watch all the banter and poke a few embers though.
We could make it or it could end up like last season, too little too late.
There are No crystal balls.
Just have to ride out another jekyl and hyde season.

Georgia has two players that could play in our rotation. Yesterday should have been a gimme game, but for some reason Golden and Stokes both went back to being head cases on the road. Mizzou is a talented squad, very similar to us in the fact that we are a completely different team away from home.

That is why I think we beat Mizzou. We are great at home and terrible away. Mizzou is the same.

I am not declaring them a good team, but you obviously have no idea how and who UGA has played this year. Except for a couple if games against UF and one against Mizzou, they have been in almost every game this year. They lost to Indiana by 13, UCLA by 4, and Southern Miss (top 50 RPI) by 2. That is in addition to their SEC wins and close games.

When you say an "inferior" opponent....do you mean a team like UGA?

Their RIP is like 125...

Don't get the Stokes hate from yesterday. There were three players (Golden, McBee, and Richardson) who played worse than he did. Stokes had 8 pts and 10 rebs on 7 touches. The 7 touches fall on the aforementioned trio. Stokes can't be effective offensively without touches.

Stokes can't do much offensively unless he gets the ball.
I'd fault those who went back to shooting 3s on the front of the clock.
thought we had gotten past that.
with this team, the only one shooting 3s on the road should be McRae.

There's no gimme games on the road in the conference, simple as that.

Honestly, the team should look at yesterday as a gift from God. That lost SHOULD have put us out, but the bubble is so incredibly weak this year, we got a pass. That should motivate us to close strong. GO VOLS!!! Let's do this thang!!
