And Shaun hopefully you didn't take any of this personally, you know I respect you and like you as a poster, just trying to get where you were coming from cause your stance really surprised me.

I know the UGA loss seemed bad, and it doesn't seem possible we could've improved our standing...but because of everything else that happened Saturday it's true.

You guys are making a big deal about rpi...it is not irrelevant but it also doesn't really matter that much..certainly not to the point where you should worry that you're in the 50's and someone else is in the 30's. Fans always overestimate its importance. It's a way to group teams (top 50/top100/etc) to compare resumes in terms of quality of w's and l's but it isn't used as a comparative tool between two schools such that the committee would be biased toward assuming for example, that a team with an rpi of 34 is better than one with an rpi of 47.
