Because these guys cannot walk away. Watching Golden Girls and collecting sea shells won’t scratch their competitive itch.

With that said.. he isn’t coming here.
If I were Urban and Jimbo, I'd try to work a deal with Fox AND ESPN where they banter like Shaq and Barkley over B1G and SEC games.

Good TV. A win for the old guys. And likely all the cheerleaders/groupies they can pull.

Jimbo might go to Bama in some position.

His story mirrors Saban. He has a Natty and a pretty high profile failure.

Nick retires, Jimbo takes over and doesn't have to worry that failing at Bama will "devastate his career" because he's sitting on generational wealth now.
Jimbo's story is nowhere close to mirroring Saban's. WTF?

As an analyst? What spot would you put him as? Help with recruiting? Help with what? Or no, we don’t need him. I would love to bring his experience to Knoxville for something? He is getting paid from A-M all of that money. Surely we could pay him something to help this coaching staff somewhere?
Never heard of her.

He has 75MM coming and can be picky on his next job. I am guessing he will take some time off, maybe do TV analyst thing on SEC network.

Jimbo will not be allowed to return to coaching until he completes at least one year of remedial education at Uncle Nick’s Koaching Klinik for Coaches Who Don’t Coach Good 😉

People close to him say he will be back soon. He has no offsetting language to his buyout so him working doesn't hurt him financially. I just don't know where he would be a good fit at.

If that statement is really true then his contract has to be the worst contract ever given to a coach. All HC contracts have that offsetting clause.

Why are we even discussing this ridicules idea.

Maybe an a former OC, we could lure him to come in and sit perpendicular to Hazle and scream at him on every single play, asking "why in the world would you call that? Do you have some sort of learning issue in that you can't remember that the last 26 times you called that, we didn't get squat!"
