While things did not go well for Jimbo at A&M; if he wants a head coaching job, it wont take him long to land one.

I think you only go from head coach to analyst when oh need income and don’t want to affect your buyout. It’s been stated that Jimbos buyout is fully guaranteed, so I imagine he is done coaching unless it is as a head coach.

Actually that makes him hirable by our so called main stream media. They want people who cause people to talk, complain ,bash and make Polls like how much do you hate (Hated sports announcer like Gary are money makers, because of online boards that hate them). The meeting with the Execs , I think we have a winner, he will be the one that creates clicks for us , its great the people hate him and we can charge more for Ads.
There's no more Lindsey Nelsons and that group, you try being a straight up good fair balanced announcer and you may be shelved. Its all about making the Clicks and bottom line MONEY.

ABC Sports MNF, hey we have something here, common denominator be hated and talked about and we as fans have fallen for it regrettably.
So you be that guy and even the non Sports people that don't know sports answer Howard Cosell, because they hear ppl talk or complain about and quite frankly its the only answer they know as seldom watchers.

Jimbo Fisher is not going to work for the foreseeable future. His contract didn’t require him to look for new jobs, so he is not going to do that.

People like him are just wired differently. To them, winning is the end goal, not being rich. The only reason they want to be paid so much is b/c it validates they are one of the best since the best get paid the most. If someone gave me a job paying $9 million a year then I’m working one year and retiring.

I wouldn’t mind having a prior head coach serve in an analyst role. Bama, Texas, and Georgia have former head coaches on their staffs. They don’t pay them squat since those “analysts” are receiving guarantees millions from prior employer.

I’m not suggesting Fisher but it would be nice to have more resources as the analysts do a great job scouting future opponents.
