Do we need Florida or Candy to win tonight?

Honestly, it doesn't really matter. If we win out, Vandy will be our likely semifinal opponent anyway.

I was trying ti figure out RPI wise which would be better. I wish I didn't have to pull for one of them tonight.

How so?
If we win out and vandy losses tonight aren't we 3 and Florida 2?
All these scenarios are running in circles.

We want vandy to win so we can get the 3 way tie and have 3rd right?

Don't do it. I mean honestly, our most realistic shot at the tourney is winning the SEC tournament. I'm banking on that scenario.

I use the work banking loosely...

Ok I'm gonna try me best...(all year are assuming we win out)

1. If vandy wins tonight, then losses to us
Florida losses tonight then to UK
BAMA wins final 2
4 way tie at 10-6 makes us 2, vandy 3, Florida 4, bama 5

2. If vandy losses tonight, then losses to us
Florida wins tonight losses to uk
Bama wins final 2
2 way tie at 10-6 makes Florida 2, bama 3, us 4

Right?

Oh, yikes. Good point, guys. I keep forgetting about Bama. I have been preferring the 3 seed and thinking that a UF win tonight would be good for that. Unless Bama drops a game, it looks like the only route to the 3 seed involves Florida losing to Vandy and then beating KY.

Nvm, I'm wrong again. No 3 seed for us unless Bama loses.
This is why I kinda decided to ignore the 4-way tie and just see how it plays out when I first noticed that Bama was hanging around at 8-6. Too many scenarios. It will be clearer entering the weekend.

So we are all wanting Vandy tonight right? If UF wins we can't finish better than 4th unless bama was to lose atleast another game right?

If bama wins out we need a 4 way tie at 10-6???

So, if UF wins tonight, we're screwed unless Bama loses? Sounds like we want UF to keep losing unless Bama drops a game; then, it becomes a matter of one's preference of 2 or 3.

gators won't get close to Vandy at Vandy. They got one of their guys out for the year. Per their forum, they done packed it in for the year.

Vandy will beat them about 20 points...80-60 or such. Watch and see!

I'm pretty sure that's accurate, don't hold me to it though.

Basically we want Florida to keep losing, if bama losses also it just adds to our chances of a 2 or 3.

One other note...hope miss st losses and losses some more. Last I said they are down to a 12 seed, another loss and they're out. That's give Tennessee a great opportunity to slide in as the 5 seed.

Gotta win tomorrow for any of this to be be relevant though.

Yeah, if MSU keeps losing, it would open up a spot in the field. But, I think you were correct when you gave us a 25% chance of grabbing two Ws this week.

from what i have heard we want vandy to win tonight,then ky to beat fl,and if we win out weare the 2 seed bc we win all the tie breakers.
