Do you hate Auburn?

I don't mind Auburn. The only sec teams I hate are Florida, Bama and Vandy. I root for Auburn everytime unless they play Tennessee. But obviously I don't care if they lose. Their hate for Bama is awesome. I went to my first SEC game this year when UT played Auburn. Obviously didn't like the outcome but their fans seemed pretty respectful from what I could tell. I feel bad they have to share a state with Alabama fans....I've gotten very annoyed with OSU fans here in Ohio. They're so spoiled. I really wish they could go through what UT's gone through. I don't exactly hate them, but I've grown a dislike for them and I was once an OSU fan....so this is something I didn't see coming 5 years ago. Their ignorance for other programs traditions is ridiculous. No other programs can touch OSU'S when it comes to them. I haven't had really any trouble with them, but they just annoy me. I always feel happy when I see fellow UT fans up here. It's refreshing. I see a good amount up here still, too. Gotta love the loyal volnation!

I have been here for 2 days looking around. They have spent a ton of money upgrading their facilities. It really is a beautiful campus. Their brand new 73 million dollar student recreational center is amazing. Still tons of toilet paper in the trees.

I hate the SEC, excluding us of course. I'm mostly neutral with the rest of the conferences.

That's me, unless we play them I don't really care about other teams. I really like Nebraska a lot growing up though, I was a big Tommy Frazier fan.

While I was at Tennessee (88 to 92) that was the 2nd most important game on our schedule. We hated them only slightly less than we hated the Talibama. The Goaters were an afterthought we only began to play on a regular basis.

I hated them. But we don't compete against them enough to maintain that old hatred. With time, I see I've got one thing in common with them that tends to overcome old animosities: an intense interest in bringing pain and misery upon the Tuscaloosa T-Baggers. I get on well with the Plainsmen because the discussion veers toward the object of our mutual scorn rather than on our old rivalry.

I have plenty of friends that are Auburn fans. If anybody is going to win the National Champion besides Tennessee. I hope it's Auburn. They hate Bama just as much as I do, and I hope they represent the SEC well.

My question for the day is:
Do Vol fans hate Auburn?

Yes...With a passion...They rank right below Bama, Florida and UGA on my hate list....I hope Mizzou blows their doors off.

The barn's the barn....the perfect example of a team that is "Meh" to me.

I had a discussion with a barner once...asked "If your mascot is the tigers...why the hell do you shout WAR EAGLE! everywhere...." his response was "Your team is the Volunteers and your main mascot is a hound dog."

Dude made a valid point.

Auburn is the only team in Bammer that I don't mind. That being said, I wouldn't say that I like them either.

Years ago I did....but this is their magical season. Hope the run the table.

Nope. I find them about the most tolerable SEC team other than UT...though I now kind of like Tamu also.

Now back in the late 80s, when I was in school, I did hate them almost as much as bammer, but we put together a long win streak against them in the last few Majors years and Fulmer era and it faded. And now I support them in the cause of destroying bammer....:)

exactly

I used to hate.
Then, after the LSU game with Dooley and we won the game, they hiked it over the Qb's head, no, we lost the game, too many subs on the field, my channel changer mated with my wall.
Ever since then, I took a heart felt back, and I still love the Vols, just in a more prioritized way.
But I still dislike bama and florida, and lately vandy.

One of my best friends is a huge Auburn fan. We have our disagreements, but no, I don't hate them. I actually like Gus. I think he's a humble guy and he's a great coach. And besides, anyone that can beat Alabama is a friend of mine

He seems like a nice guy that wears sweater vests and DOUBLE picks his nose on national television.
