I don't mind the smokey grays, but hell did we have some bad luck in them this year...
and we need a smokey gray helmet to go with them! it doesn't look right to have the white helmet with the smokey gray uniforms.

I like that we did grey just for the fact that it broke the mold. For us to do something different requires us to do something different.

We've had some really bad luck in our "traditional" uniforms as well...so I don't think the color has anything to do with it! This being said...I love the grey uniforms and hope they wear them as much as possible.

Never again. Also, players should not have anything to do with it - when they come to UT they must understand they are signing up for orange and white - just like all the other great players before them.

I am concerned less about the color of the uniform, and more about performance and winning.

Which goes into the smokehouse at your home’s rear;
After being marinated with Jack #7 and Budweiser beer.
Otherwise smoking is bad do you hear?

Agree! I would also like to see what the Smokey grey jerseys look like with the either the white or orange pants--and I would welcome the grey helmet as you describe! :salute:

No,:bad: put those ugly a#s grey togs back in the lockers for use in practice. Go back to our roots. Our colors are and have been, Orange and White.

Hopefully our players don't have to wear Clownsuits next year to get noticed.

The recruits like them so yes---and personally I think they are pretty awesome. Kind of off topic but I was in Alumni Hall and the sales guy pretty much told me that we would more than likely be switching to Nike. He said their Adidas rep kind of conceded this...but said that recruits were asking Butch and he's saying yes on it. It's very influential with the basketball recruits. I'd like to see Nike's take on Smokey Grey. They are staying old codgers so get used to it.

If Pig goes out of bounds at the 1, we beat Georgia, and the greys are the greatest thing that ever happened. I do think it should be a one game a year deal, but I think the greys are sharp. Makes the orange pop.
