The avatar with Obama's face on a communist flag. The avatar with Obama and Karl Marx, etc. I have seen much hatred towards our president elect, lots of fear talk and plenty of moaning and groaning about it. I don't want to know why you think he will be a bad president. I am fully aware of the political leanings of the majority of the board. I just want to know if you want Obama to fail as president. A simple yes or no will do. You can explain your answer if you wish, but it's not necessary. Honesty in your answer will be appreciated.

Thanks

Of course not....fail in implementing certain ideas (such as the Car Czar), sure....but I hope that his presidency is successful for this country....

i had my avatar before he was elected. my avatar is accurate to what his philosophy is. he has a marxist type of philosophy.

do i want him to fail? it depends on what his mission is. i want him to fail in raising taxes, funding abortions, taking guns away, appointing activists judges, appointing judges that believe in retribution and wealth redistribution. i want him to fail at creating the civilian defense force (Nazi SS). i want him to fail in passing the sensorship doctrine. i want him to fail in nationalizing healthcare. i want him to fail in appeasing our enemies. i want him to fail in forcing global warming on us and increasing regulations.

i want him to succeed in making our economy stronger but with his philosophy, i don't know how he can do that.

Seriously . . . Expressing doubt about philosophy does not equal hatred. We all want the same thing. We just disagree about the path to take. I don't have any venom toward the man, I just don't like his solutions. I'd love to be proven wrong.

I want him to fail in his aspirations of making this country the United States of Europe, but for the sake of the country, I don't want him to fail to fix the economy and keep us safe.

I think the question can be reversed... Did the Dems enjoy when Bush failed?

Judging from what I have seen on MSNBC, yep

If this is the standard then all people expressing the disaster of Bush philosophy should not be considered "Bush Haters".

shhhhhhh, we are supposed to be positive now. Everything is full of "hope and change". We're not going to make fun of the President anymore because its wrong to do that.

My hope is this, I hope everytime I turn on SNL, or Letterman, or that tool in California (Leno) they open every freaking show with some form of ridicule for "Mr. Obama".

"Yes we can". -"Yea, yall did".

I agree to a point. But I don't think there's any doubt that there is a certain level irrational disdain directed at Bush. The same thing was going on in the latter years of the Clinton Administration, but I don't remember the venom being turned up quite as high as it has for Bush.

Back to the question of this thread..No, I hope he turns out to be one of the best presidents we've ever had.
