Dobbs getting ready to play for Minny

Not sure if Josh will ever earn a day 1 starter position. He definitely deserves to be a long term backup for a team. However, I think he has cement his legacy as an emergency QB for any team that needs one. He has proven 3 times now you can plug him in and he will ball. I have a feeling anytime a QB1 goes down and that team doesn't have a viable 2, Josh Dobbs is going to be on speed dial.

Proud of him and glad he is finally getting opportunities he has worked so hard for.

I mean...once he gets healthy...I REALLY want to see that Dobbs to Justin Jefferson connection.

So very proud of him. He keeps landing in better and better places. It's a testament to his hard work and leadership and character.
I hope he shows out and leads the Vikings to the playoffs.

Meanwhile, the Cards didn't make it past 60 total yards today. Suckers.

He's only the 2nd player in Pro Football history to throw 2 TDs and run for 1 for 2 different teams in the same season! 1921 was the only other time. Has not happened in the modern era of NFL football.

I'm gonna give the Cards a pass on that one

The coach came out and said he would starting this week.......then Cousins got hurt.

Everybody and their mother knows the Cards are doing their best to tank the season. Dobbs had them at least competitive in every game-and won one of them. He very well may have "screwed up" and won a few more games seeing that the Cards do not get the #1 pick.

Basically, Cousins getting hurt allowed the Cards to move away from Dobbs and play a rookie. Pretty much guaranteeing then the #1 pick. Anybody else honestly think Kyler Murray is going to be allowed to take the field this season?

Was trying to figure out where Dobbs’ new coach had played before becoming a coach… not sure if true because I rarely trust anything I read on Wikipedia, but it says he was born in Knoxville, TN? Anyone know if that’s true?

Murray probably uses this season as a gap season and returns in 2024.

Weird-I responded to this and my post vanished lol.

Anyway-

Cards get the #1 pick and Kyler is getting traded for whatever they can get for him ala Josh Rosen.

Dude has been in Arizona long enough for them to know he's not "the guy". He may get you to .500, but that's about Kylers NFL ceiling.

I loved watching Dobbs today. Joshua "Houdini" Dobbs. The only other guy I have seen that can get out of a jam like him is Joe Burrow, and that's saying alot.
