Sorry if this has already been posted, but I just noticed this in an interview with Coach Jones by the AJC earlier this week:
Q&A with Tennessee coach Butch Jones | College recruiting blog
That's about 20 lbs of muscle he's put on since the end of the season. He's getting close to Tee's size when he was our QB (not to compare the two yet).
The quarterback competition will be opened up. We have four individuals who will be vying for that starting position. But Josh has done a great job. Its a lot to expect for a true freshman to come in and start in the SEC. He has got great poise, and hes mature beyond his years. One of the things he needed to do this offseason was improve his weight. He has been able to do that. I believe hes up to around 210 pounds now. He has done a great job with that, and Im excited to see the steps he has taken from the Kentucky game to now moving into spring football.
