Awesome...But can he throw the ball over 50 yards yet?

Better yet can he hit a open rec n not throw it over his head.. Dudes size has never been the question his ability to be a qb n last yr he did not prove it.. But the Dobbs gang will come along and defend him missing wide open rec withvzero pressure in his face..

Just one of the qb be above avg n we will be OK..

On his radio show today Doug Mathews said Dobbs had put on some weight and that he thought it would be either him or furgie starting this fall.

Can't believe I'm saying this but.....I haven't given up on Worley just yet. The only surprise to me would be Peterman getting the start. I'm ok with whatever the coaches decide.

Some claim that Whirlybird Worley will be our captain. That could prove true.
Some insist the true heir apparent is Rifleman Riley.
That could prove true.
But I know the officer of our offense will be none other than the Dobb Goblin.

Don't see Dobbs starting unless he found some arm strength these last few months.

Well at least we have Worley's accurancy and running abilities to count on....No overthrowing, Defenitely no throwing into the dirt. Just glad Worley was a True Freshman last season and that accurate.... us punks love to judge a true freshman QB thrown to the wolves mid season. And, us punks actually believe a QB not having taken 1 rep...is the next Peyton.

Great news, & I'm impressed how Vol players are gaining weight & strength. Still, I can't help but recall when Jumbotron showed photo-shops of Dooley's players flexing muscles not long ago. Just bring that mean attitude, Volunteers!

I think OP is over reacting a tad. 210 doesn't really count as "freaking huge" when you're 6'2 or 6'3. If true, it is a nice weight gain for Dobbs. But it's not like he's going to look like a linebacker.

Nice bump up in weight though. Might help him shed a tackler or two next season with some extra size and strength.

Lol he was a TRUE Fr that wasn't ready to play. He can throw, but he certainly thought too much on the field... He will get better. I have a feeling he will prove a bunch of people wrong this spring.

Not the kind of weight training that adds weight. Long toss works

Long toss of course, but there are other ways.. Mainly lower body strength.. I'm sure he is making strides

This is about to get into a Bio-mechanics class .... Some people will never understand what you are about to try and explain.... So I say... "Good Luck Sir". :peace2:
