So, they have magically just not been in position every game the past 4 weeks?
You actually saw pass protection last night? I saw guys missing blocks all night last night. Sorry but "something is rotten in the state of Denmark." Sam Pittman did more with this same O-Line last year than Don Mahoney has done this year.
I know different schemes require a different style of blocking, but no scheme requires you to move slowly, miss your blocks, and watch a defensive lineman wrap up your running back or close the corners on your QB. Atrocious performance!
WRs are just as good as the QB getting them the ball. Dobbs makes Worley look like an All-American.
Yes that was awful. It looked like had he stepped up he could have taken off, but he started spinning and retreating.
I recall a very well thrown deep ball that went right through Josh Smith's hands and hit him in the face. If he catches that we possibly score on that drive and this is a non issue.
Dobbs looked bad last night but some of that was pay calling. With the loss of north and Dobbs two ints they were scared to death to let him throw anything but a screen or hitch to Neal.
I have been a Dobbs guy all along but the kid has been through a rough stretch facing all to ten teams until last night. I would definitely think the job is Riley's for the taking. If he is not the answer or Dobbs doesn't improve greatly we are in trouble again next year.

In fairness I'm not sure how well thrown that ball was as much as the defender mistimed his jump.
Even if it was just miss timed jump the ball goes right through Smith's hands and hits him in the face. If he didnt have an face mask it would have broken his nose. No excuse not to catch that ball.
Also I know it was a very slim chance but the hail mary also touched Smith's hands. Would have been nice to have someone with some great hands to grab that and destroy vandy s celebration. Again I know the hail mary is a gimmick play but would have been awsome.
Dobbs won't be starting next year, so it's going to come down to Worley or Ferguson. I suspect Peterman will leave and Dobbs may as well. He'd actually be better in a smaller program but not the SEC.

Dobbs' confidence was shattered when his go to guy North was lost to injury.
Bakajan had no back up plan for the scenario and panicked when Dobbs showed signs of being affected.
Surely run and flair weren't his back up plans.
I'm not sure how you can post this so matter-of-factly. Based on what we've seen on the field, he's the best quarterback on the roster.
Dobbs does not have a lot of playmakers around him right now and it is hard for a freshman quarterback to win games by himself in the SEC.
