Just goes away?

There are a lot of names I could call him but they would get deleted on this board. Hopefully UT disassociates themselves from this scum bag. Hope he never shows his ugly face in Knoxville again. Definitely not a VFL.

So he admitted he got some free tacos, big deal. This a black eye for the NCAA way more than it is for Tennessee, especially right now.

All he really said was that they coaches brought him and several other guys some tacos. It wasn't like he said he got cash from boosters or something that is a little more serious. Nothing will come of this. The NCAA is losing credibility and strength by the day.

Nope. Instead I wish every player in the NFL that received improper benefits would speak out. Time to stop the charade.

He's a pathetic, petty piece of trash. Were it not for this University he wouldn't be in the position he's in now. I hope he chokes on a taco.

Great. Nothing like giving the NCAA another reason to come to Knoxville and dig for more stuff. Way did Foster have to gain by this other than attention?

I agree with this, but with us on probation, we don't need the attention.

If the NCAA tries to start something from this it will be the official start of the NCAA's last stand. Same with the Mo Couch situation.

VN, you anger me. Foster is a VFL, shut up. If we/he did the crime, then we/he should do the time. I hope the NCAA comes down hard on us quickly and says

"No PostSeason Bowl game for 2013 as punishment for Couch and Foster and that's it."

Because a 5-7 team will be sure to not get a post-season bid anyway it will finish our punishment before next season's campaign begins.

What are they going to look for....Taco Bell receipts?

Johnny football took 5 figures and everybody knows it and got suspended for 1 half. The NCAA has been leveled and become impotent in their power.

Some of you need a vacation. It's a bout damn time a star player says he received extra benefits. These kids need to be paid and it needs to start yesterday. You think any of these guys are here for education? No they are here for the NFL. Because they have to be. The universities around this country are making millions upon millions, personally i think 5 k per semester is fair for student athletes of all gender. But it must be given in increments and not at once. Because with that could come trouble.

Not all schools can afford that. Most of them don't have big budget athletic departments like Tenn or other football schools.

That's what the Pell grants for. Struggle is a part of life but it seems some people want everything handed to them on a silver platter without doing anything to earn it. Go to school and get your education paid for while being a student athlete and reap the rewards when you leave. This entitlement attitude is pathetic.

It's not an entitlement attitude. These schools, and the NCAA, are making Billions on these kids. Show me ANY other market where the ones that bring in the money receive ZERO of the revenues. The vast majority will never see an NFL locker room.

Now, even though I wish they could, I don't see any feasible way that it is possible to give them any money. If you pay football players, you have to pay Basketball, then there are the women's sports and lesser sports. You can't pay one and not all....even though they are the ones that bring in the money. Title IX will never let that happen.

The only way to get it done is if football breaks away from the NCAA and establishes another system....very unlikely.

If Arian tells you that he was hungry, then that's that. He may have been hungry that night but if he says he was hungry that night, then that's enough to get a whole lot started. He told SI that you don't have to give the people of TN a reason to think about dropping his VFL status or anything like that. If you drop somebody, you drop them to make the team better...simple as that. He's cool with that. He's all about that. The people in TN deserve to have a winner. It's simple as that. It goes further than that.

If he was hungry, he was hungry. It is as simple as that. It ain't about that at all. It's easy to sum it up if you're just talking about tacos. We're sitting here, and he was supposed to be the franchise player, and we're talking about tacos. I mean listen, we're sitting here talking about tacos, not a game, not a game, not a game, but we're talking about tacos. Not the game that he went out there and die for and play every game last it's his last but we're talking about tacos man. How silly is that?

Now I know that he's supposed to lead by example and all that but he's not shoving that aside like it don't mean anything. He knows it's important, he honestly does but we're talking about tacos. We're talking about tacos man. We're talking about tacos. We're talking about tacos. We're not talking about the game. We're talking about tacos. When you went to Neyland Staduim, and you saw him play, you've seen him play right, you've seen him give everything he's got, but we're talking about tacos right now
