I ordered a gun a month or so ago and it shipped and arrived to my local post office. Next day scanned and said departed post office but didn’t say where it was going. Went 5 days without any updates scans so I called Usps and filed a lost claim and also contacted the ATF since it was a weapon. All of a sudden 2 days after I filed a complaint, I got a notification “arrived at local post office”. The post office had no explanation for this and didn’t even apologize. The lady said quote “I hope you had insurance on it”. Someone got cold feet and mysteriously found the package.

Interesting. What kind of gun was this and from where?

While some TCJA supporters observe that nominal revenues were higher in fiscal year 2018 (which began Oct. 1, 2017) than in FY2017, that comparison does not address the question of the TCJA’s effects.

The most appropriate test of the revenue impact of the TCJA is to compare actual revenues in FY2018 with predicted revenues in FY2018 assuming Congress had not passed the legislation.

Summary: Revenues were higher but not as high as projections.
