Does anyone understand the holdup on stimulus?

It's been a while since we've seen a "I make way more money than you do" post. Good job comrade.
It's basically the exact same type of slap in the face as suggesting I am a freeloader who doesn't pay taxes. So, don't act surprised when that's your lead.

We know the answer, more free stuff. You lazy democrats love free stuff. Free food, free housing, free healthcare, free college

A man of character, I see. Will you post the picture of your stimulus check torn to shreds before you deposit a penny of it?

Meh. Would i rather have the money, sure..... but I also don't want to live in a country with zero safety net either. So it is what it is...

There will always be a safety net. The problem is that “safety net” gets abused for life and generations of the same worthless people.

Good grief. You writing legal briefs nowadays?? Get over yourself.

The question was asked whether the tax cut paid for itself and you replied with some bs trying to move the goalposts.
The article claimed revenue was up. The goalpost wasn't moved an inch. I replied to the substance of the post by pulling data from the linked post itself.

Perhaps makeup tutorials are more your speed?

Let's see how the 2022 and 2024 federal as well as the gubernatorial elections turn out and test whether we are, or are not, dumb. My money is bet on the "we are" option.

For the most part I’m sure it will be much of the same especially in certain geographical locations.

I don't know how much I will get but I have direct deposit it is 2020 after all.

I'm all for changing things. I'm not a huge fan of perpetual welfare for those that aren't permanently disabled. I would rather attach benefits to a vocational training requirement and work search thereafter. I am for free education and healthcare though. The safety net should be an investment rather than allowance.

You meant to type 'taxpayer funded' education and healthcare. And since those safety nets are an investment, I am certain you are in favor of increased taxation on those who partake in those investments.

Now you’re asking for too much.

It's a shame your principles were so easily thwarted by electronic conveniences.
If they didn't send me anything I would be perfectly fine even though their actions caused me and everyone at my work to take between a 15% and 30% pay cut for 2 months.

I understand. Occasionally, we have to put our principles aside because someone sends us something. I hope for your wife's sake, no one ever sends you a prostitute.

Well since you have a solution I'm all ears

$600 will buy a lot of Q-Tips.
Not sure what your problem is. I have said from the beginning the solution is to open up fully and don't send any checks. Let people decide for themselves what kind of risk they want to take.
