but they have mask and stay home mandates. How is that even possible?

Half are statistically likely from long term care facilities which weren't and still aren't being handled correctly. We have no testing plans that could really help mitigate this but the govt is full of morons arguing over $600.

Yes, if done directly it is a better plan than printing money

Looks like Donny may have painted McConnell and the Repubs. in a corner with the $2000 trump bucks. If McConnell refuses to hold a vote, Bernie is gonna object to the defense bill and force Congress to stay in session during the New Year holiday.
Bernie "No more bombs until we help our people" Sanders's rhetoric will put Perdue and Loeffler in a difficult position.
Most likely McConnell would rather lose the majority and win it back in two years rather than have the majority-- and have to actually do something that would help the unwashed masses.

What I dont understand is why can they not find some middle ground here and get this done. If $600 isn't enough and $2k is too much (I believe it is too much) why not just do $1200 again?
