Charlie Weis a bad coach? He was the savior of ND football when hired.

Jabba Weis is the #1 reason that Florida sucked this year.

The whole mess at QB is a Weis "Schematic Advantage" abomination. Pick a second string QB and run with it. Do what you have to do to win. The whole QB by committee was a non-laughable joke. Sickening to watch this offense.

I understand that the 2nd stringer was a true freshman, but he should have been ready. It is not the first school to have to play a Freshman QB (see OSU, and that fella coudnt throw a completion to save his butt)

You could easily argue that, but I'm not sure Dooley was ever "touted" as you suggest.

Muschamp was next in line at Texas, so based on results and reputation you could also argue he underachieved moreso than Dooley.

I'm just glad this abortion of a football season is over....until Ohio State beats us in the Gator Bowl.

I agree with this.

UT has more to judge Dooley by that UF does with WM. Right now we're pretty sure about what we got. UF doesn't look a lot better, but with half the sample size.

IMO. UT and UF will both have different coaches in 2 to 3 years. UT being quicker than UF to pull the trigger, due to WM being behind Dooley in a year.
