Does Hart have THE MAN waiting in wings?

After a loss like that on Saturday, the AD has to say something on Monday. Even if it is cop-out "evaluate at end of season." He's got to throw a fanbase that wants to believe we just got Punked and that we actually didn't throw away a two-TD lead against Mizzou.

Does the silence mean Hart has THE MAN in the wings...

... or does it mean he's hit the panic button and doesn't have the answers?

Right now, I have Hart on the clock. The longer he stays silent, the bigger the new coach better be.

I would assume he's got something in the works. Keep in mind most good coaches are busy with wrapping up the end of their season and bowl games.

Larry said that we have talked to no one besides Jon Gruden and Jon isn't interested.

So no Eddie, I dont think Hart has anyone in the wings

I'd rather him be quiet and just wait til the end of the season. We've wasted three years in the guy what's another month or so. I believe we'll have a big name hire when it is all said and done

Don't shoot me but this is what I have heard from a source that knows Bobby Rader from the vol network. He told that bobby said that we all know dooley is out and that Jon Gruden is coming and he is bringing Chief back to coach the D as well. He also said that Saban is headed to cleveland.

Like I said don't shoot me, this is just what I have been told by a source. He did say it couldn't happen but that he heard that its got a chance of happening.

I agree. Longer the wait makes me think he's bringing in a big hire, at least I hope. I think he owes this fan base a statement of some kind though. It's been an emotional roller coaster for vol nation and we don't deserve it. Let us know something so we can unite and get behind our new head coach and direction of the program. GBO

I agree. I think Hart should at the very least calm the fires and make a blanket statement about evaluating the situation at the end of the season, etc. That atleast lets everyone know that this performance is, in the view of the AD, unacceptable.

He doesnt work for you...UT is who he has to be up front with...And I always thought CDD knew where he stood...I like AD Dave Hart...I believe he was a great hire...and has his finger on the pulse...Knows what it take to be a winner and strives to get there..So we as fan should just sit back and let him do his job...because HE WILL...Back our team, players and coaches. Go Vols

Maybe he is quiet so in case he strikes out trying to hire a new coach, he can just act as though he was keeping Dooley all along.

UT Football program is in a different postion than when we hired CDD...Like him, Love him, hate him.... CDD has came in and put our team back in position to build our way back...the depth is close to being where it needs to be in the SEC..Injurys still hurt us at linebacker and pressure to the QB has exposed the DB's...but next years team will be as balanced as we have been in 4 years...plus CDD started the VOL FOR LIFE which is a great program for the players.
