The reason so Hart is so Quite, Due to fact DD at this point in time is better then what UT can get at this point in time. I refuse to believe that all these Elite Coaches begging to come here and coach. If that was true, How in the hell did we end up with Dooley?? Just stating the facts.
Agree, I was just thinking the same thing and saw this post.
I think the reason he is silent is because he knows all will be forgiven when we get the next guy. Its the only explanation I can think of for being silent as the ship sinks... again.
Yeah.
He has someone with very strong Tennessee ties.
Was born in TN
played ball at UT
Coached at UT
was on the '98 NC staff
As OC won a game without a QB on the field
Your 2013 University of Tennessee Head Coach, former UT QB and OC Mr Randy Sanders.

No elite coach is going to pull up roots at that time of year to work for an AD that is about to be fired? The reason so Hart is so Quite, Due to fact DD at this point in time is better then what UT can get at this point in time. You can't honestly believe that. Look at the home schedule next year and tell me how Hart sells those games. The two best games will likely be when we are irrelevant if Dooley is coaching. Hart would be lucky to average 80K a game for the home games if change isnt made. A 30K loss of people in just ticket sales is getting close to 10 million without considering the substantial impact on merchandise sales, consessions, etc. Then factor in the big money boosters cutting the AD off.The longer Hart waits, the less chance fans are going to like his decision. If we escape Vandy and get to a bowl, Dooley could return. I would have thought that impossible on Saturday night, but Hart's silence and Dooley's comments today support what I'm hearing from other donors-- Hart does not want to pay $9M in buyouts this year. Unbelievably, 6-6 and a bowl may be enough to extend the Dooley era another year.
Buck Fama. I would love it if Bama lost Nick Saban. That being said, they'd turn right around and find themselves another great coach to lean on. They do this because they're Alabama and we're not. I hate to say it, but that's a fact.
I would just settle for someone like Charlie Strong. The guy has built a strong program at Louisville and is going to probably win the Big East Championship this year and maybe finish the season in the top ten of the AP and ESPN/USA Today polls. The man was Florida's defensive coordinator and knows how to build strong defenses, and I think that with Tennessee's name recognition, he could rebuild the program pretty quickly.[/QUOyTE]
Louisvile hasn't beat anybody worth anything. Sat. they got blasted by lowly Syracuse.
DD will be HC at UT in 2013. Our D will have a overhaul. Hart really likes DD and it would be cheaper for UT to Over haul D. You heard it first here.
