Dogs of VolNation and other pets that are inferior to Dogs

Thought I would give an update on our little guy. He got his drainage tube taken out today. Vet said he is healing well. He’s eating well, moving around great, and has no problem going to the bathroom. Still haven’t had any luck finding the dog that attacked him or it’s owner. Had a very unpleasant conversation with the front office of our complex. I truly don’t care about the money or anything at this point. I just want them to send out an email to the residents here to let them know there was a dog attacked and to potentially be on the lookout and they refuse to even do that. Regardless, Ranger is doing fantastic and he will get stitches out in another 11 days. View attachment 321910
Astonishing how difficult it is to get people to do the righ thing. 😡

But I’m glad to hear that Ranger is doing well. Time to invest in some bear spray?

Probably, "why do I have all these straps on me, I'm a dog, I'm athletic enough to handle a car ride without being tied down like a mattress on top of a VW Bug. But I know u love me and are protecting me. Still, come on and let me run wild in this car"

She does run wild in the car! lol. She usually stays in the back cargo area with the seats laid down and sticks her head out the windows. But that day she wanted to ride in the front seat with her chin on the dash lol.

We had an eventful day. Raced against ETA's arrival to Ocala and back. Not only did Rocky come home, but we picked up his brother, Diesel, too. (My daughter found him first, then we saw Rocky.) It made the trip easier for both. As an added bonus, he's been trained to use a pee pad. He's gone to it a few times already. Once we got home, it was time for our first lesson in gator wrangling. Diesel is on the bottom.

Boston Terriers ? French bulldogs ? Either way, adorable.
Edit: I've asked those questions before, haven't I ?

If nothing else, even if they were the worst-ever excuses for dogs (instead of the killers that they are), these are Seriously Great dog names.

Welcome to VolNation, Rocky and Diesel! 💕

You familiar with Trenton and Chiefland area? We have some really Good friends who moved in that area last year. My buddy is actually from Willingston, but was here in Georgia for probably 10 years. We've been down there to visit several times, even before they moved. I love it, but haven't been to Ocala, his dad works there I think. Saw you mention it and the storm, and she just texted that they're worried about the storm.

I'm not familiar with them. Hopefully they weathered the storm well. We got about 6" of rain and a little wind, but no damage.

So sorry for your loss. They have a way of burrowing into our hearts.

She was quite special (to us anyway). She got to go to all kinds of places with us. She was regularly mistaken for a service dog (although I’ve never seen a Boston service dog...I guess it was me.....they see me with a dog and bam.....oh service dog).

She has been welcomed into malls, restaurants, seriously.....almost anywhere. She enjoyed it and we never complained.

Thanks for the kind words.
