My shepherd would have ate it. Put it this way have noticed pieces of bread wrapper when cleaning up after him in the yard since the bread incident this weekend.

Took my buddy to vet on Monday for weight loss and his r eye turned red. Got results of blood work back today and he has lymphoma in his liver. So this weekend we are taking him over to dog beach and to his favorite ice cream shop. Now just gotta break the news to the girls. We had a good 14 year run.

Seems like yesterday I was shoring up his kennel prior to leaving on a ski trip. He had chewed through the ventilation slits that were on the side one Sunday morning while we went to church. Came home from church and his head is sticking out the hole he chewed. Shored it up with 3/4 inch plywood and screws on the the inside and outside. Got a picture from neighbor who was "watching" him about 3 days into trip. He ate through both pieces of plywood and was sitting by the french doors looking out the door and wouldn't move. Just thankful for the time with him.

This will sound odd, I would think if I read it, because I'd never heard of such. Our new pup Koda pees a lot, and I started noticing dead grass spots all through the yard. At first I just thought it was "fall is coming", but after we moved his bathroom spot to the side, it started happening there. We done a little googling, and my wife talked to our vet. Apparently, it means he has too much nitrogen in his body, and is actually common. We were told to mix a little apple cider vinegar in his water, and it should straighten out. Anybody else heard of that? First time for me. I was kinda hoping our dog had superpowers or something
