Love that ugly mug. A friend of mine and I many years ago rescued a dog that looked very similar. Thank you for the memory rewind! Our rescue "Birdie" starting to enjoy Halloween earlyView attachment 401182
View attachment 400951This is Charlotte on the left and Ace on the right. They are both special needs and will be living their lives out with us. Charlotte is geriatric but a great motherly figure to Ace on the right. He's blind in one eye and very dependant on her for comfort. We couldn't break these two up so they are staying with us.
View attachment 401431This is Ariya. She came to us last year as a rescue but she had a surprise. She went into labor in January, after many hours of labor it was clear something was very wrong. It turns out she was mated by a much larger male and with her being a juvenile the kid wasn't viable.
Things went south fast but thanks to our vet who graciously met us after hours he surgically removed the kid and gave her a second chance. It was touch and go for her for about a week but she pulled through and earned her Game of Thrones namesake. Our vet is awesome and being a lover of animals he charges us the bare minimum. With 80+animals at a given time with many needing immediate attention it adds up.
I'll post more pictures in the coming months with stories. This is my therapy and penance for my former life. My wife and I work full time jobs and rescue the animals we can. We offer love and the comfort we can to those we cannot save.
I emplore all of you animal lovers to donate to your local rescues, it saves lives!
You will probably need to get him a dog because they grieve just like we do, when one of my Grandmother's dogs passed away we had to get her dog a dog because he would justSomebo.dy taking his missing Ash out on his new stuffy. O:h they had sooo much fun.....good for them...Went to Batteries Plus tonight and on the way back decided to stop at a local Twistee Treat for ice cream. Had the three dogs and they all got Pup Cups.

Awwh poor thingOk… my wife took our little dog to the vet because she’s been scratching her ears and one looked a little red inside. They put some kind of drops in her ears that coats the inside and stays in them for two weeks… so she was told. I got home and the poor little girl can’t hear anything at all …. The vet didn’t tell her this was a side effect.
