I love to let her loose and run. But it has to be fenced in or we will spend an hour trying to get her to come back lol. She hasn't been to any training classes yet. Trying to avoid that, but will probably have to as she only listens to her nose haha.

Hard to train hunting dogs to do anything other than hunt.
Bred into them for hundreds of years.
I was driving down a causeway at a lake, my big Chessie jumped out of the back of the truck at 55mph to hit the water where some ducks had flown in. I thought the fall would kill her, took 3 seconds for her to hit the water and flush the ducks. I don't think a leash would have ever stopped her from going after a duck. Would have taken a lot bigger man than me. Otherwise she was the best dog on a leash I ever had.

The attachment didn’t show as an attachment or even a link; just a string of characters. First one got an “oops” message. Second revealed your beautiful dog.

I have ad blockers, and some things I just can’t view - Amazon links, things that show as [MEDIA][ /MEDIA]. I assume that it’s the ad blockers, but that’s just a guess.

Had to go pick up a truck today. This vicious monster didn't like us! She'd sniff my hand, lick it, then bite me and run .


Her little buddy loved us, he kept making me pick him up and play with him

I love this. I remember giving Bear a baseball from a game I went to years ago. He destroyed it. I didn't think about the leather smell. It had to drive him nuts.
