Great pics. We went to St George island with our Morkie. He had a blast. Love how the island caters to dogs. We went to a restaurant and took him. He just laid under my chair and people watched. They brought him water in a bowl before we got our beer. He was in hog heaven.

Great vacation place for those with dogs.

Agreed.

I still get to see him. She sends me videos of him playing with the kids too.
He goes to all of my sons rodeos. Sleeps in a 40' horse trailer with full living quarters when out of town at the rodeos.

I'm sure he's good with it. Especially being around the kids. Behr loved everyone, but he was crazy about the little ones.

Had to put my 8 year old Golden Retriever to sleep yesterday because of cancer. Never knew we had this thread, but glad I found it today. It helps seeing other dogs and some happy owners.

I'm so sorry man, I know how you feel it sucks to put your best friend down, we had to put our girl down in august and I'm still not over her

Sorry to hear, bigeasy. It's always hard to see a retriever go being they are one of the happiest and friendliest dogs on the planet.

Anybody ever had their dog get Blastomycosis? It's a fungal spore the dog breathes in while digging that gets in the lungs. It affects breathing, appetite, joints, eyesight, and sores on the body. The more dangerous side of it are blindness, seizures, and death.

Our lab got it about 3 years ago and it seems like she has it again. We have medicine leftover to start her on and will be getting her to the Vet tomorrow.

It says it's more common in hunting breeds. Anybody ever dealt with this disease?

you're lucky

mine kept my yellow lab, and a corgie mix that just showed up one day...

haven't seen them in 2.5 yrs....she makes sure their either outside or kenneled when I pick up my kids, so that can't come to the door when the kids come out

My ex had my dog put down when we got divorced. I thought it would be good for the kids for her to stay with them since she had been around since they were born.
She was one evil witch.
