Dogs of VolNation and other pets that are inferior to Dogs

PetSmart is in the strip mall in front of my apartment complex. My left hand turn. Borders Reedy Creek. So, in addition to dodging idiotic people who don't look both ways before crossing, I have to watch for DAs with mountain bikes. Their trucks are problematic. Good grief, we were told to tie a red bandana on a hitch if it stuck out that far. Okay, the ducks come out of the creek and sit on the asphalt in evening. Warmer than the water. I almost rear ended a woman because she stopped for a duck.

Beautiful dog! Peggy used to live downstairs from me. She had 2 (yes, 2) Malamutes. At first, I thought all the white fluff on the grass was lint from someone's dryer. Then, I figured out it was from where she brushed the dogs.

Most of them are Reedy Creek. Some like the one with the swinging bridge are the South Fork of the Holston. The Green Belt runs through Riverfront Park along the Holston on one end, after Reedy Creek empties into it. But most of it runs with the creek.

Gotta say, I'm impressed with how smart this puppy is in a lot of ways. The most impressive, my daughter saw something online about hanging a bell 9n a string on the door to teach her to go potty. In just a couple of weeks, she's picked up on going to ring the bell when she has to go.
