3 shaves down with one, definitely not pleased. My Fusion blades lasted over a month cutting better than this.

Google how to make razors last.

I have started drying my razor after I use it. I just blot it on a towel and then run it up my forearms a couple of times (supposed to sharpen it - go with the grain, obviously). I use whatever disposables Costco has in a bulk pack. They were pretty horrible, and I was nicking myself after about 3 shaves. I was looking into DSC, etc and ran across info. I decided to give it a shot since I had like 20 more. Been using the same one for over a month now and it works...not a single nick.

I have seen those tips before about drying it and running it up your arm or jeans. I was drying my old ones but still needed to get more so i gave DSC a shot. First shave was great, closest shave id ever had. Maybe that was because of the Shave Butter it came with? But since then, sucks.

Google for discount codes before ordering. Lots out there that will save you about $5

It was surprisingly light. Maybe because all the weight is in the handle?

Thanks, will do. I just looked at Harry's site, definitely getting the orange handle.

I have been using Gilette for years and for the last month have been using dollar shave club. I am happy with the results so far, with no more irritation on neck.

I did order a free sample from Harry's and look forward to trying.

I also bought some shave butter that I'm using.

Which do you guys prefer? DSC or Harrys?

I haven't tried Harry's, but I love the DSC shave butter. A little goes a long way.

DSC has never let me down, so I haven't bothered trying the others. I actually don't like the shave butter though. Never met anyone else that doesn't like it. Everyone I know loves it.

I prefer cutting out the middleman and going straight for the source.

Which is Dorco. They supply Dollar Shave Club.

So while people are paying monthly fee for razors you can eliminate that and just buy In bulk for cheap.

Getting 16 razors would last me 32 weeks. The blades would literally start to fail before I ever used them.

The blades wouldn't fail..

And they don't force you to buy 16 razors.. They have many options.

Edit: Guess I should clarify in my earlier post it's not exclusively "bulk" purchases.

The one shipment i got came with the sample and it seemed to work great. But after 1 shave the blade was dull as crap.

the 4 pack is the next level down. It's actually a few cents more expensive than DSC
