DSC has never let me down, so I haven't bothered trying the others. I actually don't like the shave butter though. Never met anyone else that doesn't like it. Everyone I know loves it.

I didn't like DSC shave butter but I do use Van Der Hagen shave butter.

Haven't tried that one. I really like the Proraso cream and currently using one from the Blind Barber that I like too

Yep. Took a little getting used to after using the gels forever but I like it. Plus they just smell better

It's not cheap, but the Art of Shaving cream is the best I've found. A little goes a long way. I make my own pre shave oil and use a brush, shower shave with a fogless mirror. Gillette Fusion blades stay sharp forever if you shake off the water and store them upright. I bet I don't change my blade but once every 2-3 months.

You must shave like once a week. I average one blade per week and shave probably 4 days per week

Tried some German ice forged blades and they work great and really seem to hold their edge -- still on the first one after about 10 shaves.

I just use Barbasol shaving cream. I get a week, week and a half per Gillette Pro Glide blade
