The issue is you are almost 100% negative. While I think we have a decent shot, I actually believe UF will win and cover due to the reasons you mentioned originally (plus difference in coaching HC experience). Of course, I probably subjected myself to Negavol comments now.

There is so much we don't know about both teams. I'm not sure how anybody can make a prediction. We looked bad against WV; they looked worse against KY. Other than that, neither of us have played anybody of consequence. We both have new coaches. We both have young, inexperienced QBs. Honestly, I'm not sure how Vegas came up with a 6 point line for this game. That's essentially a 9 point swing since it's a home game for us.

I like our coach. I like our staff. I think we're finally headed in the right direction.

Buckle up, hold tight, and support your team. If you're in the stadium Saturday, yell like crazy and make your voice heard.

If we win it'll be because our defense or special teams scores or puts us in a position to set up an easy score. Franks is not a very good QB and can get rattled. I don't think our offensive line is going to come around this year, but perhaps our defensive line/pass rushers can. That might be the difference in the game.

I agree that if we don't create anything on defense or special teams, I'm not sure our O-line can handle their D-line straight up. I don't think we'll have many long, sustained drives against them.

I have to agree with you here. The key to the game for us is keeping Franks off balance and throwing forced balls, defensive/special teams scores, and good filed position. Our offense needs time to develop and learn to play as a unit. They aren't bad players, but CBJ did nothing for developing offensive line talent and recruited undersized and faster offensive linemen that are not well equipped for blocking big physical defensive linemen. Our offense will improve with time to develop and recruiting for depth in a year or two, the 2018 season will go as our defensive production goes.
