Tyndall was elite drawing up plays in timeout. May be the best we ever had
Maybe the best defensive coach we've ever had. Chipola’s strength this season, like every year in the Donnie Tyndal coaching era, is defense. The Indians have only allowed 70 points in three games this season and have forced opponents into scoring less than 60 in more than half of their matchups.

In reality, his defense is what made him successful in the G League and in college. He is a defensive mastermind. His defense was an improvement of Rick Pitino's Louisville defense. When he was head coach at the Grand Rapids Drive, his team led the entire 30 league in scoring defense. There is nothing out there quite like it. The opposing point guard is unable to tell if his team is playing zone or man to man. It is that good!
I just know what I saw. I’ll trust my lying ass eyes on this.

This after a G League Championship as an assistant to Jerry Stackhouse with the Toronto Raptors and a stint as head coach of the Grand Rapids Drive, Detroit's G league team at the time. He returned to junior college ball simply because he would rather deal with college players.
Tyndall signed up for G league thinking it meant

Grease League

I can count on one hand the number of people in this fan base that care about Donnie Tyndall and what he is doing.

I’d put Mears, Devoe & Barnes all ahead of DT as defensive coaches.

As we approach the final game of the season, in an historically difficult year for the SEC, walking a tightrope between a two seed and our first ever one, coached by a hall of fame coach and great man, with players receiving national recognition and breaking records—- Let us all pause to remember that time we hired a Mississippi Amway salesman to spread hair gel and chicken poop all over our already soiled reputation. Thank you. Donnie F’n Tyndall. Never Forget.
