Not sure what Knoxville media you're referring to - I live here & they have been so far behind on this it's not even funny

Said this past week that he was out. The timetable depended on the Vandy game. Lose and he was out immediately, win and he'd finish against UK before being publicly let go.

Granted, the media in Knoxville is way behind, due to being able to really only report what the school says they can. Some sites called this a month ago.

There's no reason not to announce now, since there is no bowl game.

This is precisely the problem. We have a lame duck head coach who could care less about the games being played. Anyone with a functional brain could tell that the play calling tonight was abnormally bad and impeding on our success.
